BG has interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, and is one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK; a position that it has significantly strengthened through the growth of its Norwegian business. Jobs Summary The maintenance team provides functional support across three major assets: Armada, Everest and Lomond. Within that team, the Principal Control & Instrument Engineer is responsible for providing assurance that operations are compliant with BG Group standards and procedures, and that enhanced business and operational practices are adopted to achieve functional and operational excellence. We are keen to recruit an experienced individual to this role. Suitable candidates are likely to be mid-career professionals who have trained within an operating company, consultancy or other relevant organisation, who understand the operations and maintenance procedures for C&I and must be part of (or have had experience within) a team running an asset.
