RISC is an independent consultancy providing commercial and technical advice to companies in and associated with the oil and gas industry. We have offices in Australia and the UK and have completed over 1200 assignments in over 60 countries for nearly 450 clients, providing advice on transactions worth in excess of US$180 billion. We have ambitious growth plans and would like to recruit a number of consultants for our London office.  

Specifically, we are looking for a Principal/Senior Consultant Geoscientist. This is a key role for our business. The new recruit will be expected to deliver value-adding, technically and commercially sound advice in asset acquisition, development, management and divestment.

Candidates will already possess broad technical and commercial expertise and must be able to prepare project execution plans, manage the work scope and deliver expected results and outcomes.  Ideally educated to post graduate level you will have at least 10 years post qualification experience which should showcase your business development, project delivery and client services skills. 

Self-confidence and the ability to work unsupervised are pre-requisite.  In addition, you must have superior English language skills with the ability to clearly express ideas in writing.
