Nexen has a core expertise in the Central North Sea where they operate Buzzard, their most high-profile field, with more than 550mbbls of recoverable reserves and production of 215,000boe/d. The field has 18 producing wells and eight water injectors. Their other producing fields are Scott-Telford and Ettrick and they have had recent exploration success with the Golden Eagle, Hobby and Pink discoveries.

They are now looking to add an experienced Production Engineer to the Buzzard development team. The immediate focus of this role will be well integrity and you will be expected to set and deliver remedial strategies for well intervention activities. You should have post-graduate qualifications in petroleum/production engineering and preferably will have had some exposure to offshore operations.
